We have determined that JULIUS-K9® IDC® Powerharness doesn’t hinder the movement of the dog during running.
Thanks to our subsidiaries and partners we are present in many countries around the world and support local animal protection initiatives that are in line with our creed to the best of our ability. In Taiwan, for example, we help a school dog programme that promotes the adoption of stray dogs by providing them with harnesses and other equipment they need.
As a member of the family your dog fully deserves the quality we consider important for ourselves. Whether it’s food, cosmetics or equipment, it’s important that these are made from ingredients that are premium and not harmful to your pet’s health. Thanks to the fact that we know more and more about the effects on health of different compounds, we can now make far more informed and careful choices when looking for a given product for dogs.
Traditional dog foods usually contain significant amounts of grain, which may cause digestive problems for many dogs. Dogs are primarily carnivores. Although they have become more or less able to break down the starch in grains due to domestication, meat is still the main part of their diet. This is the spirit in which, so-called grain-free dog food was born.
Our company’s novelty, the IDC®Longwalk dog harness, was awarded a prestigious innovation award. Following a thorough examination of numerous aspects, the six-member jury of the German Innovation Award selected our product as the Winner in the Travel, Sports & Outdoor goods category.
There is no doubt that dogs are the animals closest to mankind. They have been involved in supporting their owners’ work for thousands of years, which is why the need for equipment arose pretty early on. But how did we get from the “pulling harness” to the urban dog harness?
JULIUS-K9® is fascinating success story. The company started back in 1997, and from a small business operating in a 15m2 garage became one of Europe’s leading dog accessory manufacturing brands.
Dog harnesses are usually used for daily walks, but many use them during excursions too. Just like we need the right shoes for a walk in the forest, we need to choose the right harness for our dogs.
The Julius-K9® IDC®Longwalk harness and its flexible system have won a prestigious innovation award following several other international awards. This time, the Hungarian Association for Innovation assessed the application “Biomechanical solution for the protection of joints” as of outstanding significance.
The JULIUS-K9® chest harnesses (Powerharnesses and IDC®Color&Gray® belt harnesses) have been designed for ease of use and for simple application. These types of harnesses are therefore most commonly used during city walks or when working with service dogs. As a result of improper leash use, sizing, or harness adjustment, some dogs can still wriggle out of the harness.
