They’re finally home! Time to grab the harness and a leash, and begin our evening walk. It’s time to examine all the bushes and tree trunks, and then head to the dog park to hang out with the guys. What an exciting scent! Another kitten must have been lurking in this bushes recently, my nose never lies. Oh, my friend Cool is there!
– Hey Cool, what’s up?
– Hi, Menace! I see your owner’s got a custom patch.
That’s right, the harness labelled with my own name ought to catch the lady dogs’ attention!
Have you met that cute fox-terrier lady yet? I think they recently moved to the area. I noticed that there was a yellow ribbon on her leash. Do you know what kind of decoration that’s supposed to be?
I once heard her Owner talk to Marley’s owner in the park. He said it was not a decoration but a signal to others that the dog on the leash needs more space.
– More space?
She may be a little scared or has some sort of health problem, but she may simply not be very friendly with us, other dogs or people.
What do you think the deal is with her then?
I don’t know, but let’s be polite and attentive. I have to leave slowly, Cool. We’re about to play ball with my owner. You coming?
We’re about to head home, but we’ll see you again tomorrow anyway.
See you tomorrow, pal!
– Have fun Menace! See you later!
