#staysafewalksafe – Gift harnesses for hygienic walks

We are past some difficult months due to the coronavirus pandemic and do not know what to expect for the rest of the year. Our company has tried to respond dynamically to the changes, and to that end, we have donated nearly 2,000 IDC®Pure harnesses in the first months of the pandemic to make dog walking safer.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, increased hygiene has become an integral part of everyday life. Frequent hand washing, hand disinfection, and mask use all attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus, and thoroughly washing clothing worn on the street and in communities also serves this purpose. Not only our own clothes, but also the dog’s equipment should be cleaned daily, especially if we go to busy places.

This is what inspired the IDC®Pure harness. Most harnesses on the market were not developed for the 60 °daily washing that is recommended at the moment. In order not to have to give up the usual harness during restrictions, we have created a simplified version of the IDC®Powerharness optimized for daily cleaning, which can withstand high-temperature machine washing and constant disinfection.

#staysafewalksafe – Gift harnesses for hygienic walks
During the spring months, as part of the #staysafewalksafe campaign, we donated nearly 2,000 IDC®Pure harnesses, which were available at www.staysafewalksafe.com. Following registration, applicants were able to access the harness through a webshop using a voucher and only had to pay the shipping cost of € 9.90.

The donated harnesses came with #staysafewalksafe custom patches, and owners were asked to post pictures of the harnesses on social media sites using this hashtag to jointly raise awareness for safe dog walking. To our great delight, we received plenty of photos of smiling pets wearing harnesses, some examples can be found here: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/staysafewalksafe/

We hope that with our free harnesses and face masks gifted with webshop purchases, we have been able to participate in curbing the virus.
