Nowadays it is natural that dog harnesses are colorful. We have also evolved accordingly. An old dream came true when we were finally able to print in-house the different colors of our dog harnesses on Oeko-Tex fabrics.
We have been configuring the dog harnesses’ size range based on movement analyses. In case of dog harnesses used on a daily basis, the most important goal is to make sure that the chest strap does not slide onto the dog’s throat when on a leash, and that it does not hinder free breathing.
The German heavy industry is experiencing negative records, not reported for a long time. That is exactly why we still believe that we should stick to German raw materials, despite the fact that they cannot compete on price with Far Eastern products.
Julius-K9 has launched a worldwide campaign to provide a dog harness decorated with Paw Patrol heroes, to service dogs who assist children in their treatment or rehabilitation.
Julius-K9 has always loved challenges when it comes to development. A new task: how to render the Powerharness, the world’s most well-known service dog harness, usable for a young girl born without arms?
The effects of each type of dog harness on dogs’ movement were reviewed in a study by the British Royal Veterinary University. During the research, dog harnesses considered “restrictive” and “non-restrictive” were examined to see what effect they have on the dog’s movement during walking and trotting on a treadmill.
