The vast product range of major online platforms have severely undermined the operations of physical stores in recent years, prompting Julius-K9 to seek regulation within legal frameworks. Retailers have struggled not only against cheap knockoffs but also amidst the confusion of information and discounts. Since 2024, Julius-K9 has not only revamped its product lineup to introduce items distinct from those found on major online platforms onto store shelves but has also made changes in how long-standing products are distributed through online channels.
The current legal regulations and practices allow the manufacturer and brand owner to decide, for instance, that their products must be sold with an authenticity sticker when sold on online platforms. Additionally, Julius-K9 specifies the quality of packaging and strictly prohibits the uploading of product data sheets, user manuals, and photos that were not issued by the manufacturer or brand owner to the seller.
Accordingly, Julius-K9 calls on all its sales partners who sell on online marketplaces (such as Amazon, eBay, etc.) to promptly contact Julius-K9’s brand owner and manufacturer to establish proper and successful distribution conditions.
