This year, the 2nd Robot Dog Agility Competition was held in Budapest, organized by the Department of Ethology at ELTE’s Faculty of Science. The project, which showcases the mechanical advancement of robots, highlights the potential of robotics in various fields.
Julius-K9 has based the design of its health-focused dog harnesses on the biomechanical studies of living, flesh-and-blood dogs. A new challenge arose when the company was asked to recommend harnesses for robot dogs—ones that would support and enhance the functions of the robots.
We would like to thank Ádám Miklósi, Széchenyi Prize-winning biologist, ethologist, and university professor, for the opportunity to take part in this initiative, and we wish continued success to ELTE’s robotics program.
