Summer is here, and Mum is going to more and more places that have a terrace, where she can take us too. I’m very well behaved and I can stay on my bottom without a harness, but the others always need some kind of control device. Ria got a Powair harness last time, which looks like my harness but is made of a much lighter and more breathable material. Mum took us for a walk in a park in town, where we had a good run, and then we sat on the terrace of a nearby restaurant. The sun was shining, and since Ria has always loved to sunbathe, that is exactly what she did. Unfortunately, the only problem is that she has been constantly feeling warm since she started chemotherapy. Mum’s got a solution though: she asked for a jug of cold tap water, took off the harness, soaked it thoroughly, and then put it back on. It turned out that you can also cool down with this harness thanks to the sponge layer inside. Now I want one too!
