The JULIUS-K9® group shared its global intellectual property strategy with leading experts at INTA’s (International Trademark Association) 140th Annual Meeting in Seattle from May 19th to May 23rd 2018, which was attended by more than 9,000 participants from over 150 countries. The prestigious conference gave an opportunity for the participants to discuss the complexity of their problems regarding intellectual property, find solutions against counterfeiting, and gave a chance to become aware of new tools supporting the fight against counterfeiting. The focal point of the event was the unlawful online brokerage of goods. At the conference the participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge on trainings, workshops, professional programs and presentations on the institutional background of intellectual property rights in various countries, on the experience of law enforcement authorities fighting against counterfeiting, on the international aspects of the fight against counterfeiting, and on the legal cases presented in the form of case studies.
