Julius-K9 has been present on the market for almost 30 years with innovative dog equipment. As a European manufacturer, it has shown yet another shining example of how marketable textile products can be made within the borders of the European Union through the extensive use of robotisation. Given that all the raw materials come from the continent, especially Germany, the finished products have a completely different feel in the hand compared to imported products. This is how Julius-K9 became an ISO 9001 certified company and won the most international product awards as a dog equipment manufacturer in the pet equipment business.
Having successfully built the brand across several continents, in the Americas, Asia and Europe, the company’s product innovation capabilities and brand awareness have led to successful brand collaboration agreements.
The digitalisation demands of the modern world and the need for pet owners to control the whereabouts of their pets have been the starting point for the collaboration between JK9 and digital developers Weenect.
The resulting JK9 Weenect products are high-end GPS devices that help you track the whereabouts of your pets. The French company Weenect is the market leader in its field but is also expanding globally. As part of the brand cooperation, dog collars for GPS devices are made in JK9’s factories, naturally from German straps. Building on the successes of the past year, the two companies have started new developments that could be on the market in 2025.
Julius-K9 has also made strides in the field of cleaning products, recognising that for today’s conscious consumer, clean equals healthy. The aim was to find a manufacturing partner who was committed to animal health and who would formulate all their products, from detergent to dog harness cleaning, with this in mind. This is how the JK9 Clean range of cleaners was born, the ‘free-from-all’ category, where animals can neither inhale nor lick up any harmful substances, which unfortunately can happen with many other cleaners.
In addition to the development of brand partnerships, JK9’s priority is to offer different products on the major online platforms and in physical stores in 2025. After the legendary K9 and IDC dog harnesses, the Power&More harness will be on the shelves of physical stores, and its innovative solutions and uniqueness can be best experienced when you get your hands on it.
